Join us on a special 5 day workshop that begins on the streets of San Miguel de Allende and takes us out to the surrounding desert, to explore our own relationship to the land. Creating a canvas before your eyes, San Miguel offers art in the simplicity of colour, texture and form. An artist's mecca in the mountains of Central Mexico, the town is known for its colourful colonial architecture and vibrant cultural scene. Stroll café lined streets and visit markets, woodworkers, potters and artisans!
Originally an indigenous Chichimeca village called Izcuinapan, San Miguel is only the beginning of our journey. We head north, in the desert, to photograph the light and stillness of the land with an Aztec Shaman. We will experience the sacred Temazcal sweat lodge ceremony and sleep under the stars. Come with us to connect to Mexico in a way that you've never experienced!
