Arrive in colonial Antigua, with its cobblestone streets and bustling markets, then take the short trip to Lake Atitlán to capture the many colours of the Maya. The “closest thing to Eden on Earth” Guatemala's Lake Atitlán boasts seven Mayan villages, three towering volcanoes and stunning mist-laden sunrises. There is something magical about this place and every village offers different customs and stunning traditional clothing. Take boat taxis to experience village life, volcano hikes, herbal healing gardens, weaving cooperatives, and dive into the ancient culture of the Guatemalan Tz'utujil and Kaqchikel Maya. Share in their ceremonies and feel the stress drain away.

Spend a week with village elders, weavers, traditional Roma, storytellers, blacksmiths, hatmakers and children around the village of Maramures, Romania, in the heart of Transylvania. We will be creating black and white photo essays that revolve around a visual journey/story or experience of your choosing. Staying in the small village of Maramures, in a traditional wooden Transylvanian home, this master class is not for master photographers, but open to all levels who want to raise their photography to a whole new level! See the world in black and white and soak up the magic of shape, light, lines and texture in Transylvania!

The undiscovered gem of the Arab Peninsula, Oman boasts the largest sand desert in the world, breathtaking landscapes, villages and the friendliest locals on the planet. The natural world is a photographer’s dream - soaring limestone cliffs carved by canyons, that draw you into a troglodyte world of ancient cave-dwellings and prehistoric petroglyphs. Photograph camel lined desert sunsets, black obsidian formations, the mighty Baobob and beehive tombs from the Bronze Age. And Oman’s mouth-watering cuisine is a sophisticated mix of Middle Eastern, African and Indian…just another reason to come with us!

Be charmed by more than the snake in the basket, in the heart of Marrakech! Savour the souks, ancient alleys and carpet lined streets that are a feast for the eyes and camera! Hike the High Atlas with a Berber guide and enjoy mint tea high above the tree line. Our local guide, Kareem, has been asking us to come back after our last visit so we can visit the women of Tangoute where we delivered goats to replenish their herd! Come back to Morocco with us - the land of red desert sands and green pine forests!
